Nail Your Strategy Course 

"Nail Your Strategy" is a 6-week, self-paced program designed to guide founders in building their strategic playbook; the foundation for future growth. Each weekly Zoom session will run from 11am - 12:30pm EST. 

The next Nail Your Strategy Course is scheduled for June 9, 2021 through July 14, 2021 and we are currently taking applications to attend

  • June 9—Week 1 - The Power of a Change-The-World Brand - Know Thyself: A great strategy goes deep on knowing what makes you tick. What’s a “must-have” internally versus a “nice-to-have” internally? Why should you take the courageous step to build a brand that makes a difference? 
  • June 16th—Week 2 - Know Thy Consumer & Marketplace: A great strategy starts with knowing your consumer. We will discuss budget-sensitive techniques for learning about your consumer more deeply and for understanding your market, i.e., what to look for in marketplace data like SPINS, IRI, Nielsen, and Amazon data.
  • June 23rd—Week 3 - Why Do We Exist & What Do We Do?: Going deep on developing an inspiring, change-the-world mission statement and vivid description of where this is all headed gains you much-needed clarity on what the company does and does not do; drawing the boundaries to help focus the brand.
  • June 30th—Week 4 - What's Most Important, Right Now? How Will We Succeed?: What are the first, focused, prioritized steps? What are the initiatives that are going to drive growth in the right way and maximize limited resources?
  • ​July 7th—Week 5 - How Do We Behave? Who Does What?: A great strategy gets very clear on the core values that drive the team. Which team member does what and who might we need to hire & when?
  • July 14th—Week 6 - How to tie your strategy to your financial plan, instill operational rhythm in your business, and lead with the strategy. How to ensure your team buys in, aligns and focuses on delivering the strategy - monthly, quarterly and annually.

How the Program Works

The program is run by Robert U. Craven, the former CEO of MegaFood and Garden of Life and co-founder and Managing Partner of Findaway Adventures. Each Wednesday over the six week course from 11:00 am EST to 12:30 pm EST, Robert will instruct members on Zoom. Members will participate in hot seats and share progress with others. 

There will be homework for those who wish to go deep and the result of the 6-week program will be a clear, purpose-driven strategy that brands can use to accelerate growth, guide product development, answer daily operational questions, or attract investment. We will establish a 24/7 Slack channel so that members can ask questions and help one another as well. 

Cost

The one-time cost of $600 gives you access to the six-weekly sessions, weekly office hours with Robert, and a two-month membership to the Findaway Club. The Club offers a range of live (online) mastermind events that explore sales, marketing, operations, leadership, time management, and other topics determined by club members.
